
Dorothy Ann Hardy, 83, passed away Sunday October 23, 2011 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Dorothy was born in Nelsonville, Ohio to Ralph J. & B. Gertrude Hardy on December 13, 1927. She moved to Detroit as an infant and was raised in Detroit, graduating from Southeastern High School in 1945. She lived and worked in Detroit as a Quality Control Inspector for Bower Roller Bearing (later Federal Mogul). She retired in 1987. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Robert W. Hardy; nieces, Judith (Robert) Peters, Stephanie (Blair) Davies and Mary (John) Kandrot; and nephews Robert (Linda) Hardy, William (Rima) Hardy and Thomas Roberts. Many great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. She will be missed by her dear friend and Neighbor George Dabney. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was pre-deceased by her sister Catherine (Al) Roberts and nephew Alden Roberts. Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m, to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Kaul Funeral Home - 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Presiding will be Rev. William Lawrence of Grace Baptist Church - Sterling Heights, Michigan.
