Douglas Willcocks, age 89, passed away July 6, 2011. Beloved husband of Shirley. Dear father of Douglas (Lynn) Willcocks, Christine (Michael) Jackson, Donna Robinson, David Stocchi, Angelo (Cerise) Stocchi and Karen Nesbitt. Loving grandfather of Joel (Theresa) Hazard, Lisa (Gordon) Ghrist, Brent Willcocks, Gregory Stocchi, David Brown, Paul Robinson, Carmella Robinson, Rachael (Brent) Borcherdt, Bridget (John) Neam, Amie (Jeff) Szerdi, Aaron Stocchi and Justin Stocchi. Great grandfather of Mary Jackson, Gabriella Ghrist, Sydney Hazard, Sawyer Hazard, Vinchenzia, Deja, Carmella and David. Great-great grandfather of Gianna Kelly. Predeceased by brothers Arthur, Reginald and Woodrow. Douglas grew up in East Detroit and was in the insurance business for 62 years. He was a proud WWII U.S. Air Force Veteran and served as an airplane mechanic/flight engineer on B-25s in Cairo.
