Elmer Joseph Knauf

Elmer Knauf was born on July 18th, 1935 in Rudyard Michigan to Joseph and Bertha Knauf. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Rosemary Knauf, his five children Leonard (Deana), Joseph (Karen), Bruce (Karen d. 2005), Tina (Tom), and Thomas (Kim d. 2020) and his 15 loving grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In early adulthood Elmer fought for his country as a Marine. As a family man he loved helping out with his children’s scout troops. In retirement he enjoyed bingo, frequenting the casinos and gardening. More than anything he enjoyed going up to his family cabin and spending time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
