Geraldine Lillian Kanachki

Geraldine Lillian (Bray) Kanachki, age 78, of Roseville, MI. She passed away on February 15, 2024 at her home. Geraldine was born November 14, 1945 in Dearborn, MI to John & Genevieve (Lewgot) Bray. Geraldine was an alumnus of Grosse Pointe South High School and graduated in June, 1963. She also attended Northwood Institute in Midland, MI and received an Executive Secretarial Degree. Geraldine graduated from Northwood in May, 1966. Geraldine was married to Arnold C. Kanachki on August 11, 1971. Geraldine had fun playing pinochle with friends at St Margarets and Blossom Heath, she enjoyed working word puzzles and loved listening to, singing with and dancing to all kinds of music. She also liked bike riding, walking and visiting with neighbors.

Geraldine is survived by nieces and Nephews; Larry (Linda) Walker, Genevieve (Larry) Christ, the late Kenny (Mona) Tighe, Sue (Ted) Soboleski and Kathie (Steve) Dillon and Becky (John) Stevens. Proud great-aunt to; Holly & Nick Walker, Michael (Rachel) & Bobby (Raquel) Christ, Jenni (Jeremy) Zaidi, Krystal McIntosh, Kenny (Marissabelle) Tighe, Kristina Taras, Brittanie (Evan) Donahey, Jessa Stallsmith, Zoe Dillon, John & Hunter Stevens and great-great-aunt to; Jaden Paxton, Maddie Christ, Livie Christ, Jaxon Christ, Jayce Zaidi, Abby & Eden McIntosh, Rylee & Savannah Tighe, Arthur Taras, Bailey, Paisley and Brinley Stevens. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and sisters; Jaqueline Tighe, Marylee Walker and Pammie Bray.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 with a Memorial Service at 11am Bethany Lutheran Church, 19310 E 14 Mile Rd. Roseville, MI 48066 and luncheon to follow at church.
