She attended Macomb Community College, and graduated with honors from Oakland University. She worked security at Selfridge Air Force Base, and environmental services at TACOM for many years.
Jeanne was an avid drummer and volunteered her time accompanying the Utica Community Schools choirs with "Ma" Pellegrino. She played in several bands.
She developed a love for the Native American Peoples and celebrated the native American ways as Skyhawk, Gentle Feather. She is survived by her sibling Michael S. Pellegrino, Patricia D. Walercyk and Christine A. Pellegrino, and niece Bridget Switzer.
