Jennifer lived for family, friends, flowers, food, and fun. In her all too short 63 years with us, she shared so much of each.
One of the best humans of all, Jennifer had a heart as wide as the sky and as deep as the ocean. Her life was defined by love, hard work, family, and a passion for bringing people together—whether through her food or in her incredible garden.
Jennifer’s kitchen was the heart of her home. Famous for her comfort foods, especially her hearty beef stew, chicken paprikash, and tasty mac n' cheese, she was always preparing meals as an act of love for all. When she wasn’t cooking, Jennifer could be found tending to her garden, nurturing flowers and plants with the same care she gave to her loved ones. Jennifer worked hard starting as a teenager at Zip's Ice Cream and then dedicated the rest of her robust career rocking it as a sales rep at Supreme Distributors.
Jennifer knew that relationships, like gardens, take work to maintain, and she was willing to put in the effort. She also knew how to have fun--bowling, playing a rowdy game of rummy tile, and beating others in backgammon! Most of all, Jennifer enjoyed time with family and friends.
From long phone calls to birthday cards to all she knew, to big family holidays, to adventures near and far, to helping in times of sadness and difficulty, Jennifer was there for it all. And we are all the better for it.
