Lindsay, my cousin…always with a smile on your face…friendly and sweet-that's how I will remember you. I wish I could be there to say good-bye in person. My dear Aunt Roma-prayers and love to you, Randy, Kerry, Danny and families. With deepest sympathy from Jerry and me.

My Uncle was the best man ever. I will forever be greatful for the 28 years I've had with him. He never thought of himself first and always gave everything he had to everyone he loved. My heart is broken but I'm glad he is with God and my papa.

My deepest sympathy to you for your loss. Lindsey was a kind man with a good heart. May your many memories help you at this most difficult time and the times to come.

Dear Roma-- I am so very sorry for the loss of your son. Meeting Lindsay started a chain of coincidences and linkages that showed how small the world is. It also created events in my life and your lives that I thank God for. He was a gentleman to me and introduced me to your lovely family. Words can't express the hole that is left in my heart right now. I am filled with jealousy because he has gone to see the Lord but also happy for the same reason. I have so many memories with Uncle Lindsay that I don't know where to start. 
Maybe it was when he gave me a job helping him redo his house on 13 Mile when I was a just a youngn', or when I stared at a deer for the first time through a riflescope and he had to help me steady it because I was shaking so bad. He was an inspiration for me to dabble in photography as a hobby in which I still do today. 
I remember many days, nights, and weekends spent on the water either fishing or cruising Metro Beach in the boat, just him and his boys (Christopher and I). He was the best at letting us baja through state land up north. This was how Chris and I learned how to drive. I specifically remember one time when we were driving through the woods and he pulled a tree branch down and it hit the top of his truck. Chris and I were like, wow that's gonna leave a mark. His response was simply "it adds character". This is just how he was… a real down to earth human being.
He was my Dad's sidekick and a super awesome person who would give the shirt off his back for you no matter what. He could bring out the best and worst in a person but he always stood his ground for what he believed. He helped my wife and I out beyond what any person could ask when we got married when we had had nothing. 
His birthday and our wedding anniversary shared the same day. The yearly running joke is that my wife and I would usually end up in a race to see who would call each other first to wish a happy day. I will cherish and hold these memories tight and I wish I could be there to put my arms around everyone. I miss him horribly already but know that he left a lasting impact in not only my life but many others as well. God speed Uncle Lindsay, I love you and look forward to the day we can go hunting, fishing, and cruising on the boat again.
