

Morley L. Ireland, Sr., 90, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015. Morley served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WW II. Mr. Ireland was Chief of the Roseville Fire Department from 1982 – 1985 ending a 37 year career. Morley was a member of the High-Steppers in Roseville since 1996. He was also a member of the Roseville Goodfellows, East Detroit Moose Lodge, Macomb County and National Fire Chiefs Association and American Legion Post 404 in Harrison, Michigan.
Morley is survived by his wife, Uretta A.; children, Morley L. (Madelyn) Ireland, Jr., Charles W. “Bill” (Cathy) Ireland, Nancy (Keith) Oswald, Marilyn (Burt) Sills, Timothy (Gloria) Ireland, Richard (Pamela) Ireland; step-children, Kevin (Linda) Weishaupt, Keith Weishaupt, Kim (Robert) McNeil and Kerry L. (Deanne) Weishaupt; brother, Robert (Sandra) Ireland, 23 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Mr. Ireland was pre-deceased by his parents, Charles and Adah Ireland, brothers, George, Charles “Fred”, Stewart and Gordon “Bud” and sister Martha Parker.
Friends may visit Wednesday, March 4, from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home 27830 Gratiot, Roseville, and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church 17017 Twelve Mile Road, Roseville.
