Richard Arthur Bartsch

An avid card player, Rich was always happiest when staying active or engaging in friendly competition. He could often be found at the local lanes aiming for a perfect strike in bowling or out on the green enjoying a round of golf. When he wasn't playing sports, he was likely sitting at a table with family and friends, dealing a hand of euchre and enjoying the company.

Beloved husband of Linda, together for 42 years. Proud uncle to Mike (Jackie), who was truly more like a father to him. Dearest uncle of Kristy, Tina, Audrey, Carie and Amanda. He also leaves behind his adored great-niece, Myra, and great-nephew, Dennis, both of whom he loved and treated as his very own grandchildren. Dear brother of Bill (Jeanette) and Patty (Jim) and brother-in-law of Terri and Gayle. Dear stepson of Joan Bartsch. He is also survived by his step-siblings Mary Sue, Kathy, Dan and Greg, along with their extended families. He will also be missed by his two loyal dogs, Charlie and Luke. Rich is predeceased by his parents Albert and Myra, his sisters Leanna and Donna.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville, MI 48066. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are greatly appreciated.
