So sorry to hear about Bob passing, I Grew up with him on Florida St.

Bob could be a source of encouragement, he would often tell my husband John that he was happy for him that he had a good job, a good wife and satisfaction in his life, always cheering John on never thinking about himself. sometimes they would talk everyday for years then only a few weeks out of the month, but they could always pick up where they left off. We have shared a lot of good times with Bob, the funniest thing Bob would de was to call and leave this message,'  yeah John give Barkus Bob a call then he would repeat his phone number" as if we didn't know who he was. he will be missed. Words can't express the sadness of Bob's passing.  Lot of memories growing up, school and working at the pizza shop teaching me how to toss 'em.  He was a good guy who'll be missed my all.

Bob, I will never forget the summer of young love together, we rode our 10 speed back and forth. hanging with John Mill and Linda with loud music blaring. I loved your crazy comics talk. You did Zappa so well.Rest in peace andI will look for the star to the north and always remember you.

me and pam have just resentently seen bob at the union like meeting! we were very shocked and sad to here of his passing! he always was fun to talk with and he will be missed dearly!our thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family members and na friends.

Hi Fred, It's Barkus Bob, How are you doing? How's Gloria and the family. I've been trying to call Mark. Can you tell him I called. Had this and many similiar calls like this from Bob. We loved Bob. He was as gentle kind spirit. We will all miss him. Fred and Gloria Melin.

Bob had been a part of my life since I first met him back in the mid sixties on Florida street where we grew up. We worked at Casa Mia's together and he was best man at my wedding. 
 I also attribute Bob to saving my life. 27 years ago, Bob convinced me to go to drug treatment --  I did and I have been drug free ever since. Even though I moved to Arizona 9 years ago, Bob stayed in touch by calling me at least once a month.... I am going to miss his calls. I Love you Bob and I will miss you... thank you my friend.

Melody, what can I say, I've known ur dad since I was about 15, you know I was maid of honor at ur parents wedding.  I just can't believe he's really gone.  I guess God decided it was time to bring him home.  You know I'll be there for anything you & Nevaeh need.  I love you both sooo much!  To ur Uncle Jimmy, I'm so sorry old friend, I'll miss him too.  I think God does things like this for a reason.  Bob will be very happy in Heaven, your parents and Becca are there with him, he's fine. I always remember Bob as being a happy, funny guy!  From our days at Eastland Elementary to even past High School.  I know he's with his family but we will surely miss his spirit here on earth.  Rest in peace buddy!  Diana Wood
