

Sara Elizabeth Dixon, age 11, passed away December 15, 2016. She was the precious child of Gina and Reg Dixon. Cherished sister of Diane, Iris, Kimberly, Thomas, Valerie and Nina. Loving granddaughter of the late Edward (Lillie) Skinner, Wynnie Dixon and Willie Green. Dear great niece of Marilyn Hicks and niece of Donald Dixon and Merriam Green. Loving niece of Joyce and Lana Dawkins and Niecy Williams and cousin to Daniel "DJ" Williams. Best friend of Tara King and Dominitque Preston and Cleara Honey. Sara is survived and adored by her entire Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses - Fraser Congregation family, especially Pamela Strong, Jackie ‘Mama J’ Braxton, Dorothy and Antonio Pittiglio, Debbie and David Schraufnagel. Jeanne and Dave Wood, Lawrence and Shelly Zechmeister, Paristine Smith and Peter Yousif. Her close Kingdom Hall group of children and young adults: Demi Lumpkin, Kayla Dawkins, Summer Johnson, Kelby Johnson, Alyvia "Livy" Johnson, Little Karter Johnson, Chrissy Tucker, Carter Tucker, Rebekah Reed, Sarah Reed, Briana and Vincent Dionne, Bryce Smith, Lozano Smith, Jr., Little Chris Braxton Jr., Branda Braxton, Gerame Morris and Matthew, Fiona and Nicholas Tavoularis. Sara’s family is forever grateful for the overwhelming support they have received from the countless family members, friends and Kingdom Hall congregations that had the pleasure of knowing Sara. They would like to thank the oncology staff at Children’s Hospital, Dr. Miller, Dr. Ham, Dr. Wang and Dr. Schwartz, her case worker Wendi Henning, and her nurses Beverly and Kathleen. Also, a very special thank you is sent to Great Oaks Academy and Sara’s special tutor Miss G. Thank you to Nurse Jen and Angela Hospice for all their care and dedication and to her social worker, Amanda. For all their generosity and charitable contributions, thank you to Steve York and Angels of Hope, The Rainbow Connection, Ingrid Todt and Believe in Miracles, Christina Macy and New Day Foundation, Motor City Casino’s table games department and Club Metro, National Heritage Academies, and Kaul Funeral Home.
