Donna, my heart is breaking for you. I Loved your mom so very much and will always cherish the times we went to look at the Christmas lights and taking her for Wally's custard. She truly was a selfless person and Loved her family so very much. I know your dad and your brother were there to greet her when she entered heavean. Although my mom never met your mom I'm sure Sue is sharing stories of our fun times together with my mom. Rest In Peace sweet Sue

I have so many fond memories of Aunt Sue. Her smile, quick wit, and kind heart. She made my summer visits so much fun. Our family looked forward to our summer vacations there. She made us feel so welcome. She was so full of joy and energy. She will truly be missed but our  memories will last forever.  May she rest peacefully with your Dad and Billy and her siblings.  Love You❤️

We are so sorry for the loss of  a wonderful woman. We will miss hearing her voice when she calls to chat it up with Moe. Our fondest memories are when we visited many years ago, playing with the laundry chute and running up and down the stairs to the basement, so much fun for kids without a basement in their homes. She will always be fondly remembered as Aunt Shue.  

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Sue's death. She was  the "young" Aunt,  funny and always making us laugh.  She opened her doors many summers, as  the "last 4 of the 9" from Cincinnati would go to Michigan with mom and dad to stay at  Aunt Sue and Uncle Doug's house. We had cookouts, met her friendly neighbors, and visited our cousins.  Always a fun time.  Donna, our thoughts and prayers are with you and you family.  Mom will be waiting for  her littler sister with open arms.

Aunt Sue was the youngest of five sisters of my mother, Josephine Shea Moran (the photo shows Sue on the left and 
Jo on the right).  I will always remember her for her kind and loving heart, and her dry sense of humor. It meant a great deal to me that she and Uncle Doug and Donna came to California when I got married, especially since my parents had both already passed away. And I remember when she cane to visit us in California several years later, despite being afraid of earthquakes and fearing the Big One would hit on her visit. We took her to lunch at a restaurant on the very end of the Seal Beach pier. Tour boats took off from and docked on the pier, causing the pier and restaurant to shake and sway, unbeknownst to Sue. So, when a boat docked and things started shaking, my husband Larry told her it was an earthquake . Her eyes about popped out and she was ready to run for the door!   We all had a good laugh, most especially Sue.

I will miss you Aunt Sue.  You always had kind words and were very generous to all.  I remember the trip I made to your home when  my children were young.  There were 7 of us staying at your home. We took beautiful drives,  went to parks , walks around the neighborhood  and  just enjoyed the time with each other. You also hosted other family members for  dinner so we could all see each other. My son and niece  still remember you  for the fun they had at your home.  Who knew a laundry shoot could give so much pleasure. I also remember your visits to California and hanging out with Uncle Doug.  Miss those days.
Kind, giving, loving and take charge you were.  You will be missed by  all you loved.  I hope you are with all your family who has passed before you surrounded by their love and light. 


Dearest Sue/Nina, you will be missed by so many family members and friends; you will definitely be missed by me. You were not only an amazing neighbor and friend, but you were a second grandma to my children and we considered you family. Jacalyn loved coming to your house to have a special snack; Karissa loved swimming in your pool and Addison loved your special hugs.  Michelle was so young to really remember you, but definitely felt the love from you each day you rocked her and held her so close. Kyler missed out on your babysitting opportunities, but I made sure I spoke of you and told him how special you were and how I hoped to one day be an amazing, caring and wonderful grandma just as yourself.  You will always hold a very special place in my heart

When we lived next to Doug and Sue, they were like our second parents and dear friends.  We loved going out to supper with them every week.   We also enjoyed them sharing their dog Pierre to the point we put a gate between our two yards.  We always loved Sue’s home cooked meals at Thanksgiving , Easter and other occasions.   We always felt  part of their family.  We will miss you  dearly, our everlasting friend.  Love Don and Judy

I’m having a difficult time expressing the words I feel.  I am happy she is no longer in pain but very sad about the loss of my spunky sister.  She was one of the most loving mothers ,gentle with her children and fierce when they needed protection.  Will miss you , baby sister.

Aunt Sue was someone who had a fiesty spirit and a great sense of humor. She made me laugh and was a favorite of mine. I always looked forward to her visits to California. 
It’s been a long time since I had the chance to see Aunt Sue. I will remember her with great fondness and cherish the memories.  She will be dearly missed. 
My heart and prayers go out to my mother, cousins and their families and friends.
