Angie was born to the late Joseph Allison and Marian Allison of Youngstown, Ohio on February 21, 1947. She grew up in Youngstown and attended Boston University for her undergrad in Psychology before pursuing her nursing degree. She later moved back to Ohio, lived shortly in NY, then moved her family to Georgia where she would reside for the last several decades.
Angie is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother William Allison.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving Husband, John, of over 42 years, her three Daughters Stacy, Katy, and Lindsey; Grandkids Payton, Presley, Abigail, Callen, Wyatt, Layla, and Riley; her sisters Judy, Joyce, and Marian, her brothers Joseph, Jim, and Mark and many, many extended family members, and friends.
Angela loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She would do anything for her kids and grandkids. She was very active in her church, St. Brigid Catholic, and made many friends everywhere she worked and served. She retired after a long career in nursing and continued to stay very active and busy until she became unable. She fought a long battle with Ovarian Cancer since her diagnosis in November 2017.
Her strong loving spirit will be missed tremendously, but will live on long after she is gone.
The Rodney family will receive friends on January 10 from 9am until 10am at Roswell Funeral Home. Services will be held at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek at 11am. Committal and burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum at 12:30pm.
