Angelia Lena Ray

Angelia was born on July 15, 1966, in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter to the late Albert Jack Ray and Dorothy Lou Evans Ray.

Angelia met the love of her life, Greg, and they were happily married. Together, they combined a beautiful family with Jeffrey Bowlin Jr. and Rachel Grant. Angelia and Greg loved each other and enjoyed sharing precious moments and memories together.

Angelia graduated from Riverdale High school and obtained a nursing degree from Clayton State University. She worked at Southern Regional Medical Center and later as an Operations Manager at Aetna Health Care. Angelia loved traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, fishing, cooking, and listening to music.

Angelia was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her beautiful life and love for her friends and family will always be cherished in the lives who knew her.

Angelia Lena Ray is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Jack Ray and Dorothy Lou Evans Ray.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Gregory Grant; son, Jeffrey Bowlin Jr.; stepdaughter, Rachel Grant (Russell D. Wells); grandchildren, Jeffrey Bowlin III, Gracelyn Wells, Russell G. Wells, and Ayden Wells.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
