Ann L. Underwood, age 87, of Roswell, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017. Mrs. Underwood was born on July 6, 1929 to the late, Charles and Amanda Pierce of Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Ann was a long time member of Roswell United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family and her church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving spouses: John C. Hood, Giles L. Faulkner, and William Don Underwood; and brother, Charles Pierce.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Hawkins (Harry) of Roswell; grandchildren: Frances Springer, Alicia Rogers, and Adam Hawkins; great grandchildren: Amber and Elise Springer, and Sarah and Stephen Rogers.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Monday, January 23, 2017 at Roswell United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Roswell Funeral Home; and Monday morning from 10 am until the hour of service in the Parlor of Roswell United Methodist Church.
