Anna Mae Didicher Pearson, born July 30, 1932, passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born to John and Christine Didicher in Mansfield Ohio, living her first two years in a log cabin. After her younger brother (John Edward Didicher) was born the family moved to Sarasota, FL, later returning to Ohio after the war where Ann graduated from Madison High School.
Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene Edward “Gene” Pearson. They were married for over 60 years after meeting in Mansfield Ohio while Ann owned the Jack and Jill clothing store and Gene ran the Penny Pearson furniture company. Later in life Ann worked with her 2 sons at Paramont Grading Company, where she was fondly known as “Miss Ann” to the many employees. They had 3 children: Eugene Edward “Chip”, John Pearson (Sandy), Lisa Baker (Mark), 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.
Ann was strong person of faith, creating a home of hospitality and a legacy of caring for others, no matter what their background. She felt that most problems, big and small, could be solved around a cup of afternoon tea. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family and friends, especially the grand and great grandchildren. She created a home that was a safe haven, full of love, laughter, long discussions, and interesting debates. Although she will be greatly missed her legacy will always be with us.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Ann’s life at 10:00 AM, October 3rd, at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church, located at 180 Academy Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Ann be sent to Alpharetta Presbyterian Church, 180 Academy Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009 https://alpharettapres.com/
