Ardell LeRoy Larson

Del was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for his sense of humor, exemplary work ethic and dedication to family. His interests included international travel with his wife, ballroom dancing, tennis, bowling, and watching Braves baseball.

Throughout his life, Del worked hard to accomplish many things, including serving in the Air Force, graduating from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Accounting, and a 30+ year career at UPS. He touched the lives of countless individuals through his caring nature and generosity.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Else, his children Angela Halligan and Erik (Katy) Larson, daughter-in-law Shelley Trampnau, grandchildren Christopher, Nicholas, and Nathan Halligan, Dalton (Hannah) and Luke Trampnau, Finn and Kellen Larson, and great grandchild Kirra Halligan, and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Lloyd and Charlotte Larson, brother Lowell Larson, son Martin “Dick” Trampnau, and son-in-law Michael Halligan.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 10:30 am at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076 to celebrate Del's life and honor his contributions to our world.

Del's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his legacy will forever be cherished.
