Barbara Y. Watkins of Roswell, GA, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 21, 2017. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in law, Emily and Jim Jordan, grandchildren Sarah and Will Jordan, her two sisters JoAnn Pittman and Shirley Riley, her brother Jack Yancey, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She was the daughter of Victor and Lois Yancey of Newton County, GA. Barbara worked as an accountant for Equifax prior to retiring after which she enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and was an avid reader. At her request, there will be no formal service held believing that “you preach your own sermon in the way in which you lived your life”. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a cause that was very dear to her heart.
