Benjamin Donzel Pendley

Went to be with the Lord on March 6th 2022, He was 75. He was a child of God and Loved the Lord, he was saved at 15. He is preceded in death by his wife Virginia Ann (Gravley) Pendley who passed March 8th 2016.

He is survived by 2 daughters and a son. A daughter Kera (Pendley) Murray and spouse Mike Murray of Hayesville North Carolina and their 4 children; and a great grandson; Ben, Hunter and his wife, Kensley and their child Archer, Amanda and Ashley; A daughter Kristi (Pendley) Lavallet and spouse Paul Lavallet from Spanish Fort, Alabama and their 3 children; PJ and his wife Haley, Clayton and Blake; and a son, Brad Pendley from Alpharetta, Georgia.

Don was born to parents Bradford and Marie on March 29th 1946 in Alpharetta, Ga. He grew up with 3 brothers Joe, Ray and Tony. He always knew what hard work was. He is survived by 2 brothers and their wives; Joe Pendley; his wife Diane, Ray Pendley; and his wife Lois. And several nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his younger brother Charles Anthony Pendley (Tony) who passed in January 2019.

He was a Vietnam veteran and served in the Army in 1966-1968 and after he came home, he met the love of his life; Virginia. They married on September 7, 1969. The family was started. He worked as a meat cutter for 43 years and after his retirement: he just enjoyed his family.

Don lived his life Always with Intergrity and a Deep Love for his family. He had a selfless heart of doing for others. If you needed something or a hand, just call and he was there! He never met a stranger, and He could talk for hours. Daddy you will be deeply missed and by all who had the privilege of knowing you!
