6/29/1933 – 2/9/2023
Suwanee, GA
A beautiful soul that created and inspired love and happiness to every life she touched. A devout Catholic, Beverly was the mother of five children, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Beverly was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Albert and Sylvia Ossek. She raised her children along with her late husband Theodore Schorsch Jr. in Palatine, Illinois.
In 1978 Beverly moved to Florida where she eventually opened a clothing boutique and married Sverre Bakkan.
Beverly loved and cared for family and friends never asking anything in return. In her later years in Sebring, FL she in her own words said, “I take care of the old people!”
Her passions were following God and the Catholic faith, her family, cooking(she is known for her cookies, chicken fingers, creamed spinach, steak & gravy along with many more dishes), sewing, horse racing and gardening. She lived life to the fullest every day and showed all of those that were fortunate enough to know her how to live a good life.
She is survived by her five children Theodore Schorsch III of East Troy, Wisconsin, Deborah Williams of Avon Park, FL , Robert Schorsch of Fontana, Wisconsin , Kimberly Muzzo of Chicago Heights, ILL and Beth Russell of Suwanee, GA.
A memorial service will be held in Palatine, ILL on a date to be determined.
