Beverly Stratton, age 96, passed away peacefully on March 29th. Beverly grew up in Brookhaven. Her family owned a home on Lake Lanier where she loved to fish and spend time on the water. She was an avid animal lover throughout her life. Beverly had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. She was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all.
Beverly is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John Stratton Jr (Debbie) of Roswell, Ga.
Beverly is predeceased by her husband, John Stratton Sr and her parents, Joel Chandler Harris III and Bessie White Harris.
A visitation for Beverly will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076. A graveside service will occur Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 2:00 PM at Westview Cemetery Inc., 1680 Westview Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
