He was a member of Alpharetta First Baptist Church, served in the United States Army and was a 60-year member of the Masonic Lodge. He was known as an Entrepreneur, having owned the Ennis Shoppette, Ennis Dariette, trucking company, fish market and an arcade. His interest and hobbies included his church, spending time with family, enjoying people and making them laugh, fishing, hunting, gardening and taking care of God’s beautiful birds.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Edith Ennis; children: son, Dr. Terry Ennis (Donna),
Daughter, Sherri Joyner (Jon); grandchildren: Patrick Ennis (Rebecca), Nobie Muhl (Manuel),
Matthew Ennis, Dr. Jonathan Ennis (Ali), Jay Joyner, Tyler Joyner. Great Grandchild: Marigold Ennis; Sister, Marcia Butler, Brother, Joe Ennis (Sandi), and many nieces and nephews.
