They settled in Marietta for 44 years and attended multiple churches there: Roswell Street, Eastside, Johnson Ferry, and Eastwood. They participated in many different mission activities including Atlanta Mission, Jail Outreach, and MUST Ministries. During retirement they served multiple times in American Samoa as Baptist Missionaries. Charles’ favorite ministry was Gideons International where he often passed out Bibles and helped raise support.
