TRIBUTE TO MY DEAREST, SWEETEST, BELOVED AND PRECIOUS HUSBAND
Honey, we met in Nigeria before you left for United States. We were friends for more than 15 years before we got married in 2011.
You were my soul mate, my flesh, my best friend, gist mate, teacher, play mate, father, and the most loving husband.
Baby, you are the best man I have ever come across. You were very homely, caring, down to earth and always ready to help.
Honey, I have been waiting for you to come back home from work, as always. I am still waiting to hear your voice calling me honey pie, baby, Nkem, my cook (Ossee), Nwambesi (last born).
Honey, I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with you. Sadly, that decision is not in my hands. I smile because I know you loved me right up to the day you left me.
I thank God for all the care you’ve shown me through the years, for the closeness we’ve enjoyed, in times of joy, laughter and the life you shared with me.
I bless the Lord for giving me the best husband.
The gate of memories will never close. I miss you more than anybody knows….. Till we meet again to part no more.
I love you always and forever. Good night. Adieu, my sweet husband Chike.
FROM HONEY PIE,
ONAH
