

Colleen was 40 years old, born September 19th 1974, in Manhattan, KS. Grew up in Ridgewood, Queens, New York, she met her future husband on the school playground when she was just 6 years old. Coming from a tight, family first upbringing, Colleen is a first generation Irish-Puerto Rican American and was very proud of her ancestry.
She is survived by Joseph Macchiarella and their 3 children Thomas, Nicholas, and Joseph, her sister Shannon Moran, mother Mary Pol and father, Thomas Mann.
Colleen had an incomparable kind, generous, and youthful spirit. She leaves her greatest legacy behind within the lives of her husband, children, and family. Colleen would glow and bask with pride in the successes of her husband and children. She was full of wit, great comedic timing, and brought joy to her loved ones even in the darkest of situations. In addition to her family life, Colleen had a passion for pop culture, history, travel, and cuisine. She had an incredible imagination and found great pleasure in drawing cartoon characters for her children.
She was a true, honest, and open soul and brought comfort and meaning to the many lives she touched. She remained humble and forthcoming in all that she was and did. It is with immense sadness we must say goodbye to such a devoted and selfless person, but she lives on in the hearts and fondest memories of her loved ones.
