Darlene Carol Price

Darlene Carol Price, age 79, passed away on May 4, 2026. She was born on May 6, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, to Frank Trapp and Emma (Ungefug) Trapp. She spent much of her life in Denver, Colorado and more than 40 years in Roswell, Georgia, both of which she formed lifelong friendships and raised her children.

Darlene was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her love of the outdoors and gardening, and for the deep devotion she had to her family and dogs.

Throughout her life, Darlene built a loving home for her family while also working outside the home to help provide opportunities for her children’s education. She touched many lives through her volunteering, friendships, and time spent at the adult recreation center, where she especially enjoyed playing cards and Scrabble.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Genie Price Jr.; her children Christopher Price (Vann Siv), Aileen Trotter (Brent Trotter), and Brian Price (Julie Price); her grandchildren Alex, Thomas, Colby, and Tyler; and her beloved dog, Rusty. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Trapp, her mother, Emma Trapp, and her brother, Gary Trapp.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 10:00-11:00am at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. The celebration of life will follow at 11:00am at Roswell Funeral Home to honor and celebrate Darlene’s life.
