David "Dave" Franklin Farrow

Dave’s passion for football led him to play for the University of Georgia in 1980. It was during this time that he developed his love for the game, which stayed with him throughout his life.

In 2012, Dave met the love of his life, Jackie, through his mother, who was Jackie’s neighbor. Their connection grew into a strong, loving partnership, and they were married for 11 and a half years.

He was a proud animal lover, very fond of his cats and he developed a special bond with his youngest kitten, Tux.

Dave enjoyed spending his free time playing golf, fishing, and cheering for his favorite football team. He was anticipating retirement and had dreams of moving to Lake Weiss in northern Alabama.

Dave’s warmth, humor, and passion for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie; brother, Charles (Liz); sister-in-law, Vickie; nieces, Rosie and Katrina; nephews, William and Jake. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Martha Farrow and his brother, Lonnie.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at 1:30 on Saturday January 18, 2025 at Dunwoody Tavern 5488 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338.
