Dorothy Jean Davies of Dunwoody, GA passed away on January 22, 2012. Jean Davies was born in Woodside, New York on April 19, 1926 to Griswold and Elsa Sander. Jean was an only child and a graduate of Grover Cleveland High School. Jean joined the American Legion and Girl Scouts in her young adulthood and was Girl Scout Troup Leader for many years. Jean was an avid gardener, loved to sew and needle point. She was a long-standing member of the Dunwoody Garden Club, Needle Point and Sewing Club, she was a favorite host for each guild. Jean is survived by her husband of 62 years, A. John and three children John, Todd and Lisa. She was blessed with 2 grandchildren Jake and Maxwell. The service will be held at Roswell Funeral Home 950 Mansell Road on Wednesday, January 25th, visitation at 11 AM, service at noon.
