Eugene (Gene) Garrett, 85, passed away on March 10, 2012. Born in Roanoke, VA; attended VA Southern College and Credit / Financial Management School at Harvard and Dartmouth. Retired after 35 years as CorporateCredit Mgr of GA Pacific Corp. Devoted father, loving husband, and avid golfer. Preceded in death by Ruby Garrett. Survived by beloved 2nd wife of 14 years, Margaret Garrett; children, Susan (Tom) Hebrank, Richard (Michele) Garrett; grandchildren, Branden, Benjamin, Ivy, and Lindsay. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 P.M., Tues., March 13 at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076. The Funeral will be held at 1 P.M., Wed., March 14 at Roswell United Methodist Church in the chapel, 814 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
