Frances Tucker, 81 of Alpharetta departed this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. She was born April 28, 1933 in Grenada MS to the late James and Clara Hankins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Thomas J. Tucker. Frances was a devoted and Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and a true friend to all who knew her, she was a member of Crabapple First Baptist Church. Surviving are her only daughter, Gay Middleton, Roswell, granddaughter Tyler Middleton, NY NY, grandson Zachary Middleton, Portland, OR, several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Frances will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Dockery officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday starting at 2:00 until service time. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Frances’s caregiver Marie Jean-Pierre, she was a God send to the entire family. In lieu of flowers the family suggest’s that contributions be made to The American Arthritis Foundation in Frances Memory and Honor. Roswell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
