Geoff was born to the late Frederick Fenner Tremayne and late Jane Edith Schlander Tremayne on March 22, 1957 in New Haven, Connecticut. He was the youngest of three children.
Geoff began his adult life as a tradesman in plumbing. After his first back injury, he returned to school attending St. Petersburg Community College to complete his degree in computer programming and coding. His background in information technology propelled him into the next stages of his career. Eventually Geoff became the owner of a successful collection company: Glacier Financial Services Inc, based in Denver, CO.
Geoff had always been a man who lived life to its fullest and danced to the beat of his own drum. Geoff had a great sense of humor, was an avid golfer and dog lover. His woodworking hobby eventually turned into a second business for him opening Tremayne Custom Furniture.
Geoff retired early in life, so he could focus his time on raising his youngest daughter, Angelea Jane (Annie). Annie was the love of Geoff’s life. Geoff was a nurturer to a fault.
Geoff is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jane Tremayne; brother in law, Steven Zuraw; nephew, Stevie Zuraw; and standard poodle, Harry. Geoff’s full life will be forever remembered by his wife of 20 years, Kaye Dreifuerst-Tremayne and daughter, Annie; former spouse, Lisa Tremayne and daughter, Regina Tremayne, granddaughter, Margo; sisters, Cathy Zuraw and Cindy Von Oeyen and her husband, Richard; and nephews, Michael and family and Eric and family.
Services will be held in Geoff’s memory at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 11, 2021. The services will be held outdoors at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum’s Waterside Extension. Please note that if the weather does not permit an outdoor celebration, services will be held indoors at Roswell Funeral Home. Services will be recorded and shared at www.facebook.com/RoswellFuneral/ for those who are not able to attend. Geoff will be laid to rest privately in North Branford, Connecticut where he began his incredible life.
The family requests that your choice of flowers or donations be made to a charity of your choice.
