
Harold was born on September 11, 1930, in Beckley, West Virginia, the son to the late Roy Gray and Ardath Lorna Walker Pruett.
Harold met the love of his life, Sharon, and they were happily married in 1956 and blessed with three children. Harold and Sharon loved each other and enjoyed sharing precious moments and memories together.
Mr. Pruett bravely served our country in the United States Navy and will forever be remembered as an honored veteran. He also attended National Business College in Roanoke, Virginia, before becoming a successful business owner and tax consultant. He enjoyed serving as a Deacon and Treasurer at First Baptist Church in Princeton, WV as well as his membership in the Kiwanis Club.
Harold was an outstanding husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. He was always faithful and trusting in God. His quick wit, generous heart and love for his family will always be cherished in the lives who knew him.
Along with his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Pruett and John Pruett; and son, Gregory Harold Pruett.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Pruett; daughter, Rhonda Pruett (Gilson); son, Jeffrey Pruett (Tina); grandchildren, Alecia Farlow, Rick Farlow, Harrison Pruett, and Hudson Pruett; great grandchild, Cora Stout; and brothers, Bill Pruett (Teddy), and Bob Pruett (Elsie).
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2021.
In lieu of memorial contributions, donations can be made to First Baptist Church in Princeton, WV in the name of the Bobby Hylton Fund.
