Jeremiah Dotson Clements, age 102, of Roswell, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Mr. Clements, a native of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, was a leader in many church and community organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America. He and his wife, Elsie, were avid lovers of nature and hiked many trails in the Smokies. During his time at Chambrel/Brookdale Senior Living, he organized a poetry club and other clubs for residents. He loved his family and friends dearly, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Clements was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Elsie Andrews Clements.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Daniel Dyer. Son, Stephen Clements; son and daughter-in-law, Stewart and Nancy Clements. Grandchildren: Matthew and Jason Dyer, Jessica Clements, Sarah Clements Wallace, and Jenny Clements Skipper.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, Roswell.
The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the funeral home.
