

Mrs. Judy (Hall) Tinkle died peacefully on January 1, 2015 in Atlanta, GA after battling a long illness. Judy is survived by her husband Bob Tinkle of Roswell, GA; her mother Mildred Young of Blue Grass, IA; sons Jason Hall of Las Cruces, NM and Nathan Ridgeway of Johns Creek, GA; daughters Amanda Tinkle of Winterville, GA and Gicela Ridgeway of Johns Creek, GA; grandchildren Noah and Alexandra Ridgeway; sisters Debbie Moser with husband Jeff of Garber, IA, Carla Hall of Davenport, IA, Michele Hill with husband Chris of Burnet TX; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncle. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Hall of Greenville PA. Judy was born in Greenville, PA, on August 12, 1954, and graduated from Orange College, CA. She married Robert Tinkle in 2002. She had an outstanding career as a Mainframe Systems Programmer and worked on some of the pioneer IBM systems. She continued her career until retirement in 2010. Judy was, foremost, a loving wife and mother and always made her household a welcoming place for all. She loved to entertain and never missed an opportunity to cook food for holidays, church gatherings and family. Her cooking talents were second to none, and fancied herself as a Chef. She was extremely generous with no expectations of anything in return and never considered anyone she met as a stranger. Judy will always be remembered as a strong Godly woman and was very active and dedicated member of Grace Community Church. She was admired by all of her family and friends for her beauty, great intelligence, sense of humor, a strong love of music and art and grace. The family would like to thank Piedmont Hospital Transplant staff for their efforts and care during her extended hospitalization. Services will be Wednesday, 01/07/2015 at 2:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home, Roswell GA with Pastor Scott Kay officiating the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Judy’s life.
