Lee Bonner Nelson, age 87, of Alpharetta, GA passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was born in Aurora, NC in 1927. Lee attended East Carolina College. She took a job as a dental assistant in Washington, NC, where she met her future husband. They then moved to Atlanta, GA where she became a full time mother and housewife. Lee loved reading and taking care of her family. She is preceded in death by her husband; Chris Nelson, parents; Archie and Mary Ellen Bonner, sister; Florence Branton(Charlie) and son-in-law; John Malik. She is survived by her daughter; Connie Malik, sons; Kit Nelson and Arch Nelson(Katrina), grandchildren; Taylor Bryant(Andy), Maggie Puzey(Jason), Parker Nelson, and Merrill Nelson, great-grandchildren; Drew Bryant, Millie Puzey, and Jensen Puzey. A memorial service will be held at Roswell Funeral Home on Saturday February 7th, 2015 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
