

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the loss of Lois R. Sacher, who passed away in Roswell, Georgia on November 28, 2025. Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on June 24, 1935, she attended Green Bay East High School and was a cheerleader for the Green Bay Packers in 1952. She attended nursing school in Oshkosh and practiced on and off until her recent retirement.
On October 13, 1956, she married Michael Sacher, of Pennsylvania and St. Norbert’s College. They spent 4 years in the Navy in San Diego and 18 months in Michigan, then settled in Neenah, Wisconsin in 1962. In 1980, they moved to Roswell, Georgia.
Lois raised 3 children, was active with The United Way and The League of Woman Voters, and broke gender barriers when elected as a Winnebago County Board Supervisor from 1978-1980.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in health care administration at age 53. She served as national health policy director for the Job Corp, traveling every other week to centers nationwide for decades, retiring at age 85. She served as President of Willow Springs Country Club.
Lois was passionate about bridge, travel, and life, spreading laughter and joy wherever she went.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her parents, Rollin and Edith Jacques; and her sister, Sandra Jacques.
She is survived by her children: son, Kevin (Gayle); daughter, Lisa Davis; and son, Mark; her nine grandchildren: Ashley (Edgar) Moreno, Samantha, AJ, Jackson, Conrad, Noelle, Bryson, Presley, and Campbell; four great-grandchildren: Jaylynn, Isabella, Kyle, and Romeo Moreno; and her brothers: Rollin, Jr. and Thomas (Judy) Jacques.
Lois has requested a small service for immediate family and close friends.
