Lyle T. Sinor of Roswell, GA, passed away Monday January 12, 2015, at the age of 57. Dr. Sinor is responsible for the development of solid- phase technology, helping innovate blood banking practices around the world. Among his honors and awards included the Jean Julliard Memorial Prize and Morton Grove- Rasmussen Memorial Award. Lyle Sinor earned undergraduate degrees in microbiology and medical technology and a PH.D in immunohematology from the University of Kansas. He is survived by his wife; Jessie Sinor, daughters; Meghan Sinor, Mollie DeCouto(Mitchell), son; Ben Sinor, and brother; Kyle Sinor. A funeral service for Dr. Sinor will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday January 15, 2015 at Mount Pisgah United Methodist, 2850 Old Alabama Rd, with a celebration of life to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
