She was born April 11, 1937. After graduating high school, she pursued her dream and completed a three-year RN nursing program at Easton Hospital School of Nursing. While working in her profession, she met her future husband of almost 51 years, Robert W. Flesch. Together they had three children: Tamara, Derek and Stephen, along with 10 grandchildren and multiple nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She survived Robert, and also her second husband of almost 5 years, Gary F. Krause.
Claudette also became a Seminole County Florida health nurse and was eventually asked by the principal of Greenwood Lakes Middle School to develop, implement and teach an entirely new curriculum called Health Occupations & Careers, which she built from the ground up and designed to educate young minds about opportunities to help others in the health care industry while simultaneously reinforcing healthy living.
Claudette loved traveling, watching the leaves turn in the mountains, reading and above all, joining in and volunteering for numerous church functions and activities.
