Maria Lee Keeler, 53, of Cumming, GA, passed away on January 27. She was born on October 7, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to Henry and Elenora Cooper. The youngest of five children, Maria was raised in a large, loving family. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
In 1984 Maria married the love of her life, Robert O. Keeler. Upon marrying they relocated to the Atlanta area and raised a family. Maria dedicated her life to giving back to others as an Occupational Therapist, teacher, service dog trainer, and most importantly, mother.
Maria is survived by her husband Robert, daughters Erin and Mallory; her sister Patricia Yurt, her brothers, Steve, Kevin and Gregg Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
