Mrs. Martha Stovall, Martha was born on Dec. 9, 1924, in south Fulton County near College Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl T. Stovall, retired CPO, U.S. Navy; by her parents, Reverend E. E. and Mrs. Dora Bartlett; and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Martha was a forty-year employee of United Van Lines and a charter member of the Atlanta Women’s Traffic Club, a member of National Secretaries Association, and the Atlanta Street Baptist Church.
She was the author of her family memoirs, The Way We Were, and Travels.
Martha is survived by a daughter, Anne Roberson and her husband, Ken, of Roswell; a son, Mark All and his wife, Susan, of Alpharetta; 2 granddaughters, Leigh Anne Best and Meri Lynn Etheridge; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 -2 p.m. and the funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Sun., Jan. 9, 2011, BOTH at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076. Interment will be in the Vienna City Center in Vienna, Georgia on Wed., Jan. 12. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
