Arrangements under the direction of Roswell Funeral Home, Roswell, GA.Mary Roberta Castelli left us October 22, 2014 at 93 years of age, in the presence of her family. Born February 6, 1921 in St. Louis, MO she was a skilled hairdresser who owned her own salons in Florida and worked on prestigious cruise lines. She was the personal hairstylist of Eva Gabor, traveling with her extensively. Her salons catered to the upper class and pageant contestants, and were renowned for their elite clientele. She had two sons, Vincent Jr. and Gary. She followed her son Vincent to Atlanta and cared for her five grandchildren Lauren, Gina, Dominique, Nicolette and Vincent III. Viewing will be Sunday, October 26 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm, with the rosary service at 7pm at the Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA. The funeral and Mass will be Monday, October 27 beginning 11am at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 3400 Old Alabama Rd, Johns Creek, GA followed by a reception and memorial service in Corbett Hall and afterwards the funeral procession to Chapel of Peace at Green Lawn Cemetery located behind Roswell Funeral Home. In her words, “The secret to a long happy life is spending time with your family.” May she rest in peace.
