I was privileged to have spent time with Mike in the field house and on basketball bus trips when I cheered.  My sister also played basketball and loved him. He will be a great angel.

I got to know Mike when 2 of my daughters played on the basketball and volleyball teams at PHS. Mike was kind, gentle, and dependable; fine qualities of a good man. My family liked and resected Mike. May God be with your family, Mike.

I ran track in the mid 90s at PHS. He was such a wonderful part of our team. So sorry to hear of his passing.

I remember Mike as the girls track manager from 84-87...he always had a smile on his face and a bag full of gum to share....and I always sat close to him on bus trips and sometimes he'd grab my pillow and fall right to sleep. God was blessed with a thoughtful, caring angel.

I played many sports at PHS and Mike was always a smile a looked forward to seeing. He always provided the volleyball team with gum, and coach Harnish noticed I was always blowing a bubble when I served. well coach told me to stop chewing the gum and I did and my serving went way down hill. So Mike told coach to give me my gum back. lol  I often would get upset with myself and my performance and Mike would always pat me on the shoulder and tell me it would be ok. He would always say "you be happy, it will be ok" and I think in life in general he was right IF YOU ARE HAPPY EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT. My sympathy goes out to his family I will keep you all in my prayers. God Bless

Mike will always be remembered and loved by me. He was at PHS and was the best manager ever for volleyball and softball. He was a very loving and kind man and taught all of us a lot about responsibility and being a good person. I am sorry for the family's loss and he will live on in many,many,many alumni Big Reds hearts and memories. RIP.     Debbie Spears

I'm saddened to hear the passing of Mike or better known as "Mikey" to the girls on the PHS track team. I had the privilege of knowing him from the 2001 -2003 track season.  I was always so appreciative of everything he did for me.  There wasn't a race where he didn't already have my blocks set or a high- five after a race.He always believed in me and our biggest supporter and fan.  I was so honored to share the success and accomplishes that I had at PHS with him. Rest in peace Mike.

I played basketball at PHS, and always got a piece of gum from Mike. He took great care of us girls! God bless and prayers.

I was so saddened to hear of Mike's passing.  Since retiring from PHS, I had lost contact with Mike.  He devoted many years to students at PHS and will be remembered fondly by so many.  He still holds the record for "most pictures in the Field House".  We cared deeply for him.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Patty Miser

Susie, Joy, Jan, Bobbie and all your family, I pray for you as you mourn the loss of Mikey.  I know you are comforted to know he is at perfect rest now.  He was a sweetie.
