Robert Clinton Johnson

Robert was born to Sandra and Stephen Johnson in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He attended Clemson University, where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Robert was a member of the elite rowing team throughout his college career.

Entering the workforce, Robert began as an Intern for the US Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Gordon, specializing as a Construction Representative and Mechanical Engineer. After his internship, he moved into his role as the Mechanical Engineer for the Navy in Virginia and Maryland.

It was at Fort Gordon, where Robert met the love of his life, Cindy. They wed and later gave birth to their beautiful daughter, Ella, whom become the light of his world.

Robert enjoyed spending time outside, hiking, running, cycling, and flying quadcopters. He was also an avid Clemson football fan.

Robert was truly a joy to be around, always there to support his family and friends. The moments and memories he created will be cherished by all who had the honor to know him.

He leaves behind to cherish his love: wife, Cindy; daughter, Ella; parents, Sandra and Stephen; sister, Brandy, and many extended family members and friends.
