Robert Walsh Lyon, beloved husband and father, died May 27, 2010. Born in Appleton, WI in 1935, Mr. Lyon graduated from the University of Georgia in 1957, served in the US Navy, and was a long-time member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lyon; Carrie, Jon, Kate, and Lindy Heyl of Davidson, NC; Robert D. Lyon of Atlanta; Jeff, Molly, Alixe, and Nick Lyon of Cumming, GA; Dawn Griffiths of Charlestown, MA; and Kira, Todd, Harper, and Tanner Willis of Roswell. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 5-7 pm on Monday, May 31, at Roswell Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 1, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Family arrangements are under the care of Roswell Funeral Home.
