Mrs. Rosa Esther Perez, 88, of Canton, GA entered into God's eternal care on Oct. 7, 2011 after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born in Havana, Cuba, she grew up and spent 34 years in Lugo, Spain. She later spent 2 years in Havanna, Cuba before moving to South Florida in 1959 where she lived for 46 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Emilio Perez, who passed away in 1967 from cancer. They were wed in Lugo, Spain in 1950. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving family - daughter Maria Goff, son-in-law James Goff Sr., grandchildren Cristina, Emily, and James Goff Jr. all of Canton, GA. and son Lorenzo Perez of Plantation, FL. There will be a private viewing and later she will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Miami, FL near her husband.
