Sarah was born to the late Grace and Orie Fountain on February 16, 1930. She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, though she spent most of her adult years in Cobb County.
Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Walker; her sister, Helen Jaudon, her brother, Harold Fountain, and sister Charlotte Blocker.

Sarah leaves behind a wonderful legacy: three daughters: Barbara Asmann, Beverley Walker, and Belinda Lee (Cliff). Her grandchildren Kevin Walker (Denisa), Tony Moon, April Moon and Kristen Asmann, and her four precious great-grandchildren, Jaden, Dylan, Ryder, and Benton; her niece Arline Alexander (Scott), and many that considered her family and their adopted “mom”.
The Celebration of Sarah’s Life will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, March 17, 2023 in the chapel of Roswell Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Tyler officiating. The family will receive friends from ten o'clock in the morning until the service hour at the funeral home.
In lieu of customary remembrances donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
