Scott was a devoted husband, father & grandfather. He was known for his magnanimous, outgoing & loyal personality and his love of family & deep sea fishing.
Throughout his life, Scott achieved many accomplishments in building & running 2 businesses in computers. He touched the lives of countless individuals through his community at Mt. Pisgah UMC where he served as a Stephens Minister, worked with the cooking team and sang in the choir. He travelled to Costa Rica with the mission's outreach on 2 occasions.
After his first wife Walta passed suddenly, his priorities changed from business man and provider to sole parent of his 2 beautiful daughters. He then met Patricia, his present wife, who proceeded to complete their family once again.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Patricia, daughters Ruth and Maxine and son-in-law Michael Cohen, step-daughters Marci & Cory Harper and family & Audrey & Jeff Galyon and family. His cherished sister Terrie Rowe Sturgill and countless other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his admired older brother Stu Garber and treasured older sister Eileen Garber Rowe.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday July 5, 2025 at Roswell Funeral Home. The family requests casual comfortable attire. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your choice of Stephen Ministries’ Mission or American Diabetes Association.
Scott's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his legacy will forever be cherished.
