Terry’s friends and family will remember not only his immense creativity, but also his gentle, humble, and kind spirit. He carried a dry, subtle sense of humor—one that made you pause and think before the laughter came, often spilling into a full belly laugh once you caught on. Quiet yet deeply expressive, he had a way of making those around him feel seen and understood. He enjoyed going out with friends, catching movies, and sharing simple, joyful moments that brightened the lives of those around him.
Terry’s artistic talent was recognized early. At about four years old, he drew a detailed picture of his classroom with himself looking out the window—a work far beyond what most children create at that age. From that moment, it was clear that Terry was not simply drawing; he was an artist. His gift was undeniable, and those who saw his work knew he viewed the world through a unique and creative lens. What began with that childhood drawing grew into a lifelong devotion to visual and digital art.
Known for his anime-style illustrations, web comics, and animation, Terry poured his heart into every piece he created. In the months before his passing, he was on the verge of releasing his own webcomic—having already built the characters and the worlds, he was putting the finishing touches on the script. His talents also extended into audio and video editing, where he built a budding business that reflected both his artistry and entrepreneurial spirit. He loved attending MomoCon and other conventions, where he immersed himself in anime, animation, and the vibrant creative community he cherished.
He pursued his studies at the New York Institute of Technology for a year and a half, and later earned a certificate in Communications from Full Sail University, continuing to shape his path as both an artist and storyteller.
Terry also had a keen eye for storytelling in every form. He would often analyze movies, television series, and animations from every angle—the script, the acting, the graphics, the music, the art, even the choices of directors. For him, nothing was ever just entertainment; it was a canvas of ideas to be explored, questioned, and appreciated.
Though his life was far too short, Terry filled it with meaning. He leaves behind a legacy of creativity, kindness, and inspiration that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
He now joins his beloved brother, Sean Ameer Lowe, and his cherished nephew, Cameron Anthony Lowe, in eternal rest.
Terry is survived by his devoted mother, Denise Marie Filmore; his grandparents, Carolyn Washington and Harvey Walker; his uncle, Clifford Filmore; and a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will carry his memory forward.
