Donna Lynn McNeil

10/8/73 - 3/8/15

Donna, of West Covina, passed away at 41, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Steve McNeil and loving mother of Jacob & Jenna.

Donna earned her Master’s Degree at Cal Poly Pomona and was a teacher and Girl Scout leader at San Jose Charter Academy. She left us too early, but her influence on so many young children will live on. "Live, Laugh, Love" seems to be her lasting motto, living life to the fullest. Donna loved to travel. She had many hobbies including photography, flash mobbing, color guard, bowling, Bunco, and two book clubs. She was always the biggest fan at all her kids' sporting events and dance competitions.

Donna is survived by her husband Steve, children Jacob and Jenna, parents Ray and Jackie Cotter, sisters Monique (Kevin) Beadles and Cindy (Gabe) DeLuna, niece Gina, nephews Mason, Nolan and Andres. She was preceded in death by her brother Tony Cotter, grandparents, Pete & Jean Bonsangue and Francis & Simonne Cotter, and niece/nephew Hayden Beadles.

Rosary/Viewing: 3/19/15 at 7pm at Sacred Heart Church: 344 W. Workman Ave, Covina.

Funeral: 3/20/15 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church followed by burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery: 2161 S. Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights.

In lieu of flowers, a college fund is being set up for Jenna McNeil.
