Eddie Armendariz known to most as "Eddie Armen" was a husband, father, grandpa and brother. Born in New Mexico he moved to California at the age of eleven. He attended Lincoln High School and proceeded to E.L.A. college. At an early age he developed an interest in playing the guitar. Eddie had a gift from God that would take him beyond his expectations. He evoked and acknowledged the unexpected. I guess we can say he had an "ear" for music, he would hear a song, and played it, or did it his way. Eddie took his music career to a different level. Eddie's musical talent and ability with his remarkable voice made him a prominent musician in the music world. Eddie performed in variable clubs, benefit fund raisers including festivals and church masses. In his world of music he traveled to entertain. Eddie performed with extraordinary, prominent musicians as himself. To name a few; Manuel Fernandez, Bobby Dee, Tony Garcia, Johnny Alonso, Adolfo Castro and so many others. Eddie Armen & Staff recorded hit record "Ask me no questions" by Capital Records and made it to American Bandstand in 1967. "Guitar Legend"
